    I cannot edit the post anymore, but here is the lower drive drain plug removed after about 3-4 hours or usage time. The drain plug went in clean the other day when I added new fluid.

    I’m going to get a new battery cable terminal for it and clean the ground wires. Oil pressure switch? I thought it was just a pump and wiring. Where can I find a new pump for $45? Do you know what year and model of truck has a pump that I could get from an auto parts store? 3.8 liter v6 GM.

    Missing exhaust flapper?

    I’ve just read another thread here from a member, where a missing exhaust flap have issues. I see nothing that resembles a flapper on my drive nor in the manual. But I’m curious if it’s needed or used? It’s a 1984 OMC 3.8L V6 stringer sterndrive. Thanks.

    It was 1 solid hose. The only lines I have not serviced are the hard lines. Hard line from separator to pump and pump to carb line. They are all tight. Would an air leak in those cause issues?
