I took smoky out last Sunday, but it didn't turn out like it was supposed to. Engine started with just a touch of the key. Backed off the trailer tied up, turned off the motor. Parked the truck, engine fires right back up. Idle out for several minutes getting stuff situated and hit the...

I'm not sure what to make of that response. You're either hard to read, or you have a hard time reading. Not really sure. I posted a pic of my filter and you gave me some abbreviations that I'm not sure what they mean, and some other stuff that doesn't apply to my engine, and telling me what...

Duly noted. The trolling battery has hex bolts in the terminals but the starting battery has wing nuts. I'll replace those with hex nuts and lock washers. The fuel filter is critical to etec motors too, no? The one I have looks to be serviceable I think. I'll do that when I relocate it.

I got some of that mess cleaned up a bit. I don't think I want the gas can up there in an enclosure with the battery. I think back here is a better spot. One good reason is its ventilated. I'm gonna reroute that filter also, so that line isn't hanging out right in the way.

I got to cleaning out the inside. This mess is not gonna fly. Thsts almost new charger and $400 lithium battery My wife has these little "magic" cleaning pads that worked well on the console. The steering wheel is beyond cleaning and it will be replaced.

That's really cool. Why are the wheels on the trailer so far apart? They must scrub hard when ya turn? Do they wear out quickly?

Ya, it's all paint except the graphics. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna paint the metal on the inside. It's pretty grimy. I think alot of it wash off, but alot of it won't. The carpet is in pretty good shape and should clean up nicely, and with new paint on the inside, it should look really nice. Any...

So, I got Smoky home yesterday. Didn't get to spend as much time cleaning up as I wanted to. But I got one side, the transom, and the engine cover buffed out. Cleans up pretty good. I used an old pad on the green part, then switched to a new one and went over it again, then switched to another...

    We did a thing...

All 3 of our dogs are rescues. Willow in '16 at Pismo. Sadly, we just put her down about 3 weeks ago. We gave here a great life for 7 years, tho. She got sick in October, she got better for a while, but her liver was failing. She was about 12 which is avg life for a Siberian. Then Maggie...

    daily music fix

Here's one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded, IMHO. Top 5. Throw in Stairway, Freebird, Voodoo Chile...not necessarily in that order. LOL Ted was one of the greatest guitar shredders back in the day. Dude was amazing. And my favorite singer/musician of all time. The Hag. I don't think...
