    60 Mariner----Help??

    I just bought a boat that has this 60 Mariner. The serial number is 06159317 On marine engines it say something like a mercury 140 which is wrong. Can someone help. I need to know the year and model of this engine????

    Thanks for the meter instruction. I tested the switch, and it is good. My problem is the switch was an oem part. the pin that goes in the rubber plug is not long enough and the wire cut 1/2 through. I ordered a new pin that should solve my problem. Thanks for your help!!!

    I just replaced the power pack. maybe the the power pack wire is bad. I had a meeter but I do now know how to use it on this?

    My kill switch did not work so I purchased a new oem kill switch. Still does not work? Any help you can give would be greatley apprcaited.

    The screw is stripped and stuck. I broke off the removal tool in the screw head. Any ideas how to remove?

    Rebuilding 1980 johnson 35 How do I split the case. I watched a video of someone hitting the cam shaft and the case opened. No luck for me. Any ideas?
