    I have looked all over and dont see it. unless its stamped in and there is a bunch of grime covering it. Im going to pull it out today and wash it up and see if that will show it.

    I can not find the serial number to save my life. I have looked everywhere no plates or discs. Unless I'm just blind. It does look like it was painted maybe at one point but you would think I'd still see it. He is some more pics.

    @jimmbo if i remember correctly it the cowl looks like the 67 you posted. but now can i even go off that since it may have been changed lol.

    ill get photos of everything and maybe some closer photos. it all needs to be rewired for sure, so i do need to buy a manual. ill also try and find the s/n tonight

    what should the cowl look like? ill take a pic of mine when I get home tonight. Also all i see is 1965 to 89 manual. would it be the same?

The fact you guys think its less than 115hp is the best thing. My boat is only rated for 100hp max. I was just going to reniforce my transom a little bit...

    @Chris1956 damn can tell that much from those pics is awesome. i learned more from your one post than from google/searching. ill look today if i can see the serial number. here is a couple more pics. needs some love. have all the shrouds for it and the original background pullstart.

    yup found it. thank you. im gonna order it but in the mean time where is the serial number located on these? i had googled it and it told me a spot but i dont see it there and all my other outboards have a plate on the lower section of the engine.

    I'm curious how I get the steering cable out if the engine mount? It won't pull through. It get like 3/4 then binds. It doesn't look bent and I sanded it a little to get the rust build up off. But it will not come out. Also if anyone knows of a manual I can get for free that would be awesome...

    They were rotten rotten we cut a hole in the floor to see under and the mold and smell of stagnant water was ridiculous. The foam flotation that was in it would pour water out when pushed on, and the boat hasn't been in water for over a year. Almost seems like the boat was sank at one point...

    if you have a proper bill of sale with the registered owners signature and date which he does how would it be stolen? also the hin number just came back clean. I just had the sheriffs office run it for me. Also here in my state you can not register a non running car, it has to pass emissions...
