    Cracked block season...

    93 King Cobra no fill plug??

    Doing a service on a 93 King Cobra with a 351 Ford setup. It has the bottom drain plug and the dipstick plug on top of the drive but no center fill plug...:confused: First Cobra i have seen that i could not locate the fill plug.. Any ideas guys??

    Pulling a Volvo SX drive

    I need to pull the drive on a 97 model Volvo SX. Is the shift cable similar to the older Cobra drives or does it need disconnected to pull the drive? Have not seen the boat yet to get serial numbers.... Any tips?:D

    Fuel fill hose

    Man its expensive! Got into replacing it on my Chris Craft yesterday. The old hose was stamped made in 1979..:eek: It was all cracked and looked bad so i tore the boat apart and got the old hose out. 54 inches of new hose...75 bucks! Ouch! At least now i feel good that every fuel line is...

    470 Merc charging system conversion

    I have a guy thats looking for the brackets to update the charging system for the altenator.. I noticed the Sierra-Napa book shows a kit. Anyone know what these kits cost? Napa wanted near 500 bucks.. Must be a less expensive route.. Thanks!

    Anything specific on changing the gear lube on a 2003 496 HO Mercruiser Bravo I...? The Merc manual doesn't really say much about it. I know it has the tank in the boat for the LU lube.. The book shows the engine holds 8.5 quarts of oil...Thats a big oil pan.

    Filled up the 86 gallon tank, now smell gas...

    No problems last year with gas smell. The lines from the tank to the motor are new...I opened the access hatch where the fuel gauge sender is and really smell fumes. No gas in the bilge though. Ohhhh...to think i may need to pull that big dang tank! I can take the large panel out of the deck...

    Solas hub stuck on prop shaft....

    50 hp merc outboard. The solas hub is bonded to the splines on the prop shaft.. Tried the BIG hammer after some PB Blaster with no luck. Thought of a wheel puller but the thrust washer is rounded on the edge so the 3 jaw puller won't grip it.. Any tricks guys? Tried some heat but didn't want...
