    Carb jet sizes.

    My manual for some reason doesnt list the WH-30 carb for the 1987 or so Black max 150-175. Does someone have the jetting #s both air and main for that carb for all cylinders.

    Trojan Batterys<br /><br />I can buy them locally and they look real good. This place just sells batteries and say they are the best of any battery he has ever sold as far as not being returned , lasting a long time, and holding there charge longer than most.

    Local marina thinks my engine, (150 Merc) is not a 150, but a 175 with a 150 cowl on it because the carbs are WH30s. They say that the serial #s that year didnt tell what the horsepower was. I guess that could explain a few things. Anyway, they are 175 HP carbs. :eek:

    There really is a difference in Optima type batterys.

    Well, I know some of you know that the wife drives an 87 Mazda RX/7 rotary engine with about 285,000 miles on it. Well, I have normally used Dello 400 15W-40 oil in it nearly the whole time we have owned it since about 100,000 miles, so that means we put about 170,000 miles on the car...
