    Propane expands in warmer temperatures as to the reason tank is not completely filled in warmer temperatures... Now in colder temperatures it can be filled more and usage is greater also if using for heating...Could be just a false sense as to times when tank is so called filled .

    The clarey will do the battery registration ...since you disconnected the cables it might be wise to re register the battery...     Sure just hook up a starter to it with a remote switch and do a compression test... Out of the vehicle with engine supported. Do it before you pull the heads or anything else with the donor engine just to see if its worth your time . lf compression is good drop it in and go driving.

    Have you investigated to find the problem? You say it runs fine sounds fishy...Unless its just valve seals... Do a compression check at least to get a clue before replacing with maybe a better one.

    To tell you the truth l have never ran sin oil in any of my vehicles... Just regular oil and change every 2000 miles but l have always added a quart of dura lube every time l get a vehicle and at 50000 miles...l was in Ocala Florida in 1983 when Don Garlits tested dura lube in a Mairlin plane...

    It actually has a lock up torque that is applied in all gears... More than likely the tach movement is the lock up disengauging. Haunting for a gear Just driving it more often should help after fluid change Do you drive it in tow mode when hauling ?

    Amazing man ....no rust in your parts and put it off ...for years ..l guess you can afford to do it now and drive your family around safely again .. As Bruce said undo the 3 bolts and it should fall out.. Shocks are another 2 bolts and one nut Easy when theres no rust

    Yes they have 3 bolts...But in the rust belt you can work hard hammering the assembly out or do it easy In a perfect world you would pull the bolts out and it would fall out Not so on a 22 year old truck
