    There's no upholstery near it yet. I thought the concern was it could spontaneously catch fire during curing, not when it's gone off?     I'll need to check but I believe the holes in the boat fibreglass already have some reinforcing wood beneath them, can tell due to the way the screws tighten. I didn't need to make new holes, managed to fit the hinges in the original holes.
