    When you do the gluvit, do it in batches and use a syringe to apply to seam. Makes it a lot cleaner and prevents waste. SHSU

    Looking at it, it almost looks like its to bolt something on to the engine, not to hold the head to the engine. The head takes 10 bolts per Crowley. So as long as you have your 10, I would guess its for an accessory. SHSU

    Man I see what you mean when you say "crack". Not 100% its a crack, wonder if something really sharp scraped the bottom. In your last picture it looks like the "crack" jumps which doesn't seem natural. SHSU

    As long as you have a big enough loop I don't think you should have an issue if your throttle/running cables are to long. You can test how much stiffer they are with and without the loops before install. As for measurement, I did the 2 foot rule. I didn't want to do a loop in the splashwell...

    I put my starting battery within 6 feet of the motor, but sounds like you have planned for the run length is wire size. Just remember wire will get very hot quickly if you are cranking on it for too long. As for all other accessories, I used 14 gauged which was over kill. So your 12 gauged...

    I see you have the original end caps. Suggest you secure them with bolts and nuts. To many have lost them the rivet fails after a good strike on a dock or such. Once lost, finding replacement would be like looking for a live dinosaur... SHSU

    A metal sheer machine would be the easiest, but I have done both angle grinder and metal saw. Both work. SHSU

    Make sure you predrill your holes so they will be straight. If you try after you install, you can get slightly angled holes that may cause issues down the road. SHSU

    I added King Starboard on top of my bunks. Its very slick. One word of caution though, being so slick you have to make sure you don't change direction quick when the boat isn't tied down.... Almost dropped the boat when trying to put it into the water. lol SHSU
