    afternoon I have a Honda 200 2005, Not sure if the gauges are related to the alarms. The alarms just beeps as soon as the motor starts. checked all the fuses. Looks like good water flow.     2000 Mercury 200 Optimax acts like its losing fuel pressure at top end. Checked tank and fuel ball. I can idle out fine and get on a plane. Then after 5-6 minutes it starts cutting out like its not getting enough fuel. I am going to check pump in the vst. Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

    1986 Johnson 150 painted gray? why?

    Bought a Johnson 150 1986. The whole thing is painted gray. Under the flywheel, carbs, the whole freaking motor. The guy said it was from up north. Everyone paints the motors gray to prevent corrosion. I have never heard of that. Any thoughts.

    2000 Mercury 200 Optimax wont shut off at keyswitch

    2000 Mercury 200 Optimax wont shut off at keyswitch. Just replaced ECU. I couldn't get spark unless I put 12 volts to the external fuel pump. Now its running perfect. I just can't turn it off. I did some work on dash. Is there a kill wire on the key switch? Thanks for any help.

    1985 Johnson 150, misses at 1500-2000 rpms

    1985 Johnson 150 has new coils, new power pack. Carbs are rebuilt. When I run it up not in gear its fine. I put it under a load and it idles perfect but whem i bring it up past 1400 rpms there is a definte miss. then when i get past 2100-200 rpms its fine(no miss) gets up to 4800 rpms. Thats it...
