    static timing 115 omc

    Ok maybe I think too much about these things. When I pull the plugs for a static timing, should I ground out the plug wires to the block. What about fuel coming out of the plug holes, chance of fire from spark?

    When turning over my engine with plugs out should I be grounding the plug wires to the block. And if so should I also disconnect fuel supply to the carbs in case an errant spark ignites fuel coming from plug holes?
