    even tho im a omc guy, i just scored this amazing motor. i think its a 1986 buy the serial numbers. motor doesnt look like it was ever installed or run. the filter housing is like new, the prop had no oil or gas on it and the carb still has its new look.

    56 johnson 5.5 fuel pump install easy!

    had a little time today as i waited for the buyer of another motor. wanted to see if i could get a fuel pump going on the old 5.5. i went with the briggs / stratton pump and i took apart the intake, removed the check valves for the pulse. it worked pretty good, didnt take long at all. so thanks...
