    SX-M Questions

    Great post, this helps me a ton as I will start this in a few weeks. Did you replace the 6 nuts that hold the outdrive to the transom? If so, do you have a part number? Did you also replace the rear seal behind the gimble bearing? I've heard that is impossible to get out.

    Best way to clean silicone on boat

    2004 Hurricane SD187. The boat has a silicone bead around it near the rub rail. I want to clean it but don't want to use something that could compromise the seal of the silicone and I don't want to replace it. Any suggestions? I tried soap and water and a soft toothbrush but didn't do much.
