    Just use it. Pound the living daylight out of it. I doubt you could ever flip it or swamp it unless you get hit by a 2' wake. I've tried with several small 12-15' boats. They are so light and they just sit up on top of the water like a duck.

    People add trollers and sonar all the time. What you choose, how and where to install it, is up to you. Having BPS do the install should give you decent results as they know the boat best.
