    the gen II uses 2 seals back to back and needs the upper disassembled for seal replacement

    best option it to replace them and do a mod to the wiring of the trim gauge to keep the constant power off the sender until needed, 2 diodes and a little adaptation of the wiring . Thats why the trim sender side always goes bad before the trim limit side

    there was/is a tool .looks like a giant easy out with a hollow center to fir over the prop shaft .screws under the seal to remove it. Otherwise drill a small hole and screw in small screws to force it out.

    Just to add to the mix but has anyone checked the anti-syphon or the electric fuel shut off solenoid? Might try putting a vac gage in the fuel line to see if there is excessive vac present indicating a restriction in the fuel system.
