Your slinging around a lot of water best guess the starter got very wet and seized the bendix. May want to add a small pump as far back as you can and turn it on when you advance the throttle
It would be helpful to have the same trim cylinders, you have 1 alpha and 1 alpha gen ii trim cylinder and a Frakenstein aft bolt .Look at the rubber bushings that should NOT be like that
Known as the 'Quick Crack System" I would remove it entirely .Replace the diverter ball with copper piping and just loop the 4 hoses at the front. Install the standard merc drains with the blue plugs. You will be much better off .
