    I bought an axle a few years ago and it it had Rockwell Posi-Lube hubs. These have an offset zerk and they have channels for the grease to flow through so there is not a cavity that needs to be filled. I like them better than other types I've had.

    Shouldn't be a problem as long as all 4 wheels have the same tires. Your actual speed will be slightly less than your indicated speedometer speed.

    Doesn't sound too bad. What are the numbers at 1200-1500 rpm? What does dragging mean? Have you had the battery tested?

    Fan should be very hard to turn when hot. Compressor probably won't cycle when it's hot out especially at idle. Like others I'd try the fan clutch. Cheap and easy.

    I don't know about conversions for Suburbans but do you have the full fan shroud installed? Also, you should be able to check the fan clutch. With the motor hot and the engine off try and turn the fan. It should not slip if the viscous coupling is working properly.

    The advantage to the one that attaches to both ends is it may be quieter. They can be difficult to install without the right tool.

    I installed a Sierra MP41400 Oil/Temp kit a few years ago. I mounted the buzzer under the dash. It is plenty loud enough.

    Spec is 650-700 in the water, in forward gear, so you might be close.
