    If your upper pin is not drilled to allow grease into the seal area and bushing area ,its useless. The fitting that high can only lube the upper most pin area. installing one for the bushing and seal makes better sense and will keep the corrosion to a minimum.

    Bondo, there on I/Os his cable looks like the outboard cables. If you have an I/O there the wrong cables

    with the lower shaft turned fully clockwise and the prop locked CCW ,you in full forward. lower the upper on the shaft keeping it in a straight line with the prop. I only hope you DID NOT draw the drive together using the nuts
