    How do I express the utility to my wife then? :) In case it matters, it’s only moving the trailered boat on the stone driveway into a garage or out again. Never launching, etc.

    Good morning. I just looked into the numbers on my equipment. I have a Mercury Alpha One with final drive of 1.62. The current propeller is a Solas “ME 49 20”, “1511-148-17” The engine is the 5.0 fuel injection Volvo. It’s a 23’ 2008 Glastron GXL.

    I need to buy a new propeller for my GXL. It has the 5.0 Volvo V8. Does anyone have a prop they have purchased for this setup that worked great for you? I use the boat to pleasure drive on a lake or pull my kids on a tube. No water skiing or other sports. Thanks!

    You are correct on the switch. It has Off, 1, 2 and 1&2. I do keep it off all of the time when not in use. 1 I believe is for starting and then I am supposed to switch to 2. I was advised not to use 1&2 just so I don’t accidentally discharge my starting battery and have to paddle home. I’m...

    It’s a 2 battery system. 1 deep cycle and 1 for starting. That definitely connects to the batteries.     Thanks for such a quick reply! That all makes sense, thanks for the confirmation. What do you mean by “blower” however? That switch has confused me and I haven’t had any guesses.
