    bought this on ebay as a project boat. the project is remount the drivers seat, replace 6 inches of rub rail. round off a chipped corner of the console. hang a motor on it.

    we have talked extensively about grounds on lights. The mfgrs have finally heard me. i bought a set of P.L.T. lights, yesterday. the fixtures were 3 wire including ground, the harness had the full length white wire for grounding the fixtures.

    3rd impeller is the charm

    got the 1956 Duracraft and the 71 50hp rude in the water this morning. stayed cool. just not opening up wot. only would run 15 mph. gonna check linc & sinc. had to go thru carbs 3 times, to get them to stop over flowing.

    1971, 50 hp model 50172, the impeller eater. OEM, & ishop, cross references 337230 to 777213. then did a search at ishop, using their system and it shows 2 replacement OEM 122739 and 114812. this has me thinking that the 777213 is not the right impeller and is too wide. i'm getting...

    Addiction strikes again

    bought this hull for $76 on ebay. will pick up in a couple of weeks, will have less than $100 in it. 14'6" will make a good fisher, with a motor i have in the shed.
