    over temp should be a tan/blue.... in tha early days merc did some confusing things with tha tan and tan/blue.. at one time they were both tan (very early on) till they added tha blue tracer to tha alarm wire....

    since that one looks like it reads actual water temp... it should be just one wire.. sensor grounds to tha block.. alarm should be one wire also.. my old age is settin' in! must be an older merc with two piece heads..

    do you have an OEM manual? damaged flywheel and/or crankshaft splines usually end up havin' ta change both.....

    start with around 1000 rpm in neutral.. go from there.. should drop 'bout 200/225 rpm when ya go in gear.. depending on ya weight.

    idles to low... bring it up ta "0" at crankin' ta start with... "Which direction of the screw will bring the idle up?" thinkin' clockwise.. it will let ya know for sure.....

    a constant beep is not oil related unless tha module has gone south.. do you get tha three "self test" beeps when you turn tha key ta "on"?. does it start tha beep instantly when key is turned on?.. tha "main" tank in tha boat is pressurized by tha motor.. it will force feed oil to tha small...

    Mercury Black Max outboard 175hp, Snapped Gear Shifter Top Shift which connects to the lower gear unit.

    there is an "arm" that attaches to tha top of tha rod right under tha adapter plate.. it is attached to tha rod with tha "roll pin" faz is refering to... removing that pin and arm is tha only way ya gonna get tha rod out without pullin' tha powerhead...................

    no such luck with a plug anywhere!.. splice it in to tha hose that runs between tha top of tha block and tha poppet.. Put a "T" right as it leaves tha top of tha block..................

    chris.. with tha WH/WMH/WMV (MERC) series carbs tha only things that control idle is tha idle circuit and idle timing.. you have ta change tha idle jets ta change tha idle at carb.. tha carb openings will remain completely closed.. tha linkage has no control over idle.. if you use tha butterfly...
