Servicing the gear case and water pump is not hard or very technical . I guess it might seem like open heart surgery..... removing the gear case an all, but its pretty straight forward and there are heaps of vids showing how to do it , and basic tools will do it .
If you get a service manual it...
Yeah I like the crispy skin ....just never thought of givin the tail a sizzle....but I will , just that I usually chop the tail off to fit it in the pan ( flounder is probly the only fish I cook whole ...mostly fillet everything else )๐๐
Yep ,my neighbour is building a log splitter and needed a 33mm drill to go thru ยฝ inch steel plate ....43 bucks off ali ex and 180 bucks locally . Cheap one did the job and still looks new . Works for me ( mostly coz he used my drill press ๐)
It is a sacrificial anode and also counteracts the torque steer of the prop....which is why its is adjustable ...for different props and installations on different boats .
Sacrificial anodes dont work if you insulate ( paint ) them
Yeah , I have found myself thinking several times " I hope Im doing as well as that guy when I get to his age" and with that in mind I have been eating less and doing more physical stuff. My goal this winter is to be able to walk 1km on my tin leg without needing crutches .....I can get 400m...
Cant you adjust the brake light switch so it needs a bit more pedal travel to trip the switch . There are in line pressure switches too ...if you want to go that way ....possibly ( depending on local regulations ) with an adjustable cracking pressure.
Pork rib eye , I cheated and got it at the butcher, salad , mostly from local gardens....(we swap stuff), and twice baked potato, from the compost heap (๐I havnt told her yet ๐๐)
๐๐๐I had to google "the bomb" because I thought it meant something was really good.....and it does, I mean I dont get that ..... like your not old enough to have lived thru a war (my Granddad said they ate snouts and arseholes during the war just to get some meat ) .
I always eat the skin on...
Yeah I usually eat the skin 1st and then put the salt on . I usually lightly bread the chicken ....unless its marinated....with stuff called "coat n cook" so the skin doesnt need salt.
And tphoyt , not a big fan on spud salad but Di does her version of baked potato.
She microwaves a big spud...
Yep ,I got it (Blazing saddles ) on vhs and dvd .
My Mum wouldnt let us do anything she didnt like ....but we were gettin off light compared to Grandma ....who was something else when it came to expressing opinions about others way of life ......nobody was safe ๐๐. She was the spitting image of...
When we were kids Mum wouldnt let us watch Archie Bunker ( we did when we could ) but now that Im older and wiser I can see why ....the guy was a complete pig. I change channels now if he's on .
Aw man ,thats a shame ....its all about technique . To be fair the fresh water fish we have here are not great eating , apart from Flounders but they mostly hang out in estuaries so they can go either way. I smoke the odd trout but mostly I either give them away or put them back. ๐
Yeah , you gotta be smart about it coz some of it is crap but if you are ....say going to cut and weld a spanner for one awkward access job then why chop up a snap on when the chinese one will do the job .....or bashing one size down socket over a munted bolt head .
