    3 vane or 6 vane impeller 1995 70hp

    Just changing out the impeller my '95 70hp I recently acquired and noticed that the impeller is 3 vane. Any motor I've had before around that size has the 6 vane impeller. Is there any difference ? i usually saw 3 vane in lower hp engines not in 70's.

    i think i have broken the shear pin on my 3.3hp mariner, however after removing the cotter pin, i can't get the prop to come off the shaft. Even slightly hitting the prop (plastic) behind the blades won't budge it. Am i missing something else?
