    Yamaha 8 HP wont go into gear. HELP!

    Does it matter fuel hose diameter on Honda 5 H.P?

    I need to get a new fuel hose for my 1998 Honda 5 HP kicker. Would the hose diameter matter a whole lot. I believe Honda uses a 6 mm hose but I cant find it locally. Can I just get a generic 3/8" hose assembly and use the honda fittings? Would it affect the way the motor runs any? Thanks
