    Got back on it this weekend, floor in all new fuel vent hoses DBL clamped and the console with new bottom machine. I think the 1/4" rivets will hold 100% better than the factory.new steering and wheel.

    The cracks are 1/4" bow to stern if that long,but in these pics you can see the gaps between the end of the ribs and the hull matl,I took pick from inside and outside fo starboard side, the port side is fine and flat?

    This is what I used in the paint.it worked a lot better than sand I used on my other starcrafts in the past.

    Went to the ramp for the FIRST leak test and failed Big Time,10 rib ends were leaking,I would not see the cracks with my OLD eyes but I kept in in for awhile to make sure I found them all.very small cracks but that's a big issue to me.looks like IM GOING HERE!!! see pic.

    WM, yes 1/4" dia. much better shear and tensile strength and the standard head dia is big enough for me not to worry, I will be looking at them all the time because im not the carpet kinda guy.

    I am using 1/4"x1" griprange on my 5/8" floor,screws are not an option. using 3 coats of rusto pro with nonskid additive after the first coat. as you can see in the pics I added connecting boards missing the stringers.

    I have got a little done,floor cut and painted , bought my pink Styrofoam boards to replace old flotation foam.I guess I will put it everywhere I can,I only want to keep the power head ABOVE water should the worse happen.
