00" 175 Ficht Electrical Trouble

I have a 2000 Evinrude Ficht 175. The ignition capacitor keeps blowing.Starts fine.. out on water all gauges shut down when RPM's hit about 3000 RPM's. Engine has very low hours. Dealer has no clue why this is happening. Any assistance would be helpful

have dealer look at voltages on the twelve and 40 volt sides of emm<br />is it blowing main fuse position 7 on pdp or start assist fuse 20amp in line<br />if its blowing fuse 7 try hooking key switch directly on moter see if problem goes away ie not blowing fuse any more if it doesn't blow fuse problem could be wiring harness key switch etc
