00 200 hp yamaha v max value?

This motor quite oiling and burnt up on me. Thier is still a bunch of stuff that could be used for parts. The lower unit is in perfect shape and so on. Is 1400.00 to high to price the whole motor?

If the motor otherwise is in fairly good condition you wont have a problem getting $1400 on ebay. I sold a burnt up 03 200 vmax on ebay for $2000 and it only took 1 day. You will be able to get more on ebay then craigslist but I would try both. If you have a little time you can sit on it you could start at $2000 and drop it $100 every week til it sells. good luck
