My 2000 225 EFI Saltwater suddenly dropped from<br />5700-5800 rpm to 5000 rpm while at full throttle.<br />Engine also now idles rough. Tried new spark plugs<br />but condition still exists. Mid-range performance<br />seems normal. No apparent cylinder/power head damage. Spark plugs look normal. Top speed on my 21' Mako bay boat was about 56mph but now is only about 43-45 according to GPS.<br />ANY IDEAS TO WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED ?
