hello<br /> a careful test session with a known good voltmeter is in order. most likly you will find a bad connection someplace. is the aux battery charging wire taped off or hooked up? and does thids boat use a rigging tube from the motor to the hull. the 3 wire battery cables had a tendancy to fail. the sense circuitry is not sensing battery voltage or the voltmeter is off.<br /> check all the connections on the 80 amp fuses. check all battery cables for internal corrosion.<br /> a quick way can be with some heavy 10 GA jumper leads. also insure any and all batteries are good with no dead or shorted cells. normal on that motor is 14.8 at anything above idle.
