01 suzuki df50 4 stroke can i use wireing from a 82 suzuki 200 ?

have a 01 50 4 stroke guy has a 82 model 200 hp 2 stroke harness and controls cheap can i use them will they work if not what are my differant options to use yamaha, nissan ? help thanks

Did you ever figure this out? I just got a '99 DF50 and am shopping around for a used control box & harness. I've seen an na12s control on ebay at a reasonable price, but I'm not sure if the harness will fit. I think the harness changed in 2005ish, so the newer ones (expensive) would also require an adapter. Any feedback would be helpful! thanks,

you can use the two stroke box from suzuki but you will have to change the throtthle arm from push to pull.not to easy to find the arm

no.but would try to find a used 4 stroke box i wouldnt used that old box but thats just me.
