I dont know much about Outboard motors, but...

A friend of mine has a 04 or 05 Suzuki 90 Fuel Injected Four. He told me it was in the shop for an oil change and they did not put enough oil in it.

He then told me that when he pushed the throttle forward the motor stalled. and had problems with it. Any idea what would cause this?

Could it be bad gas or the carb? Any help helps....!

Did he add oil as needed? Was there enough fuel to the engine? Did he let it warm up before he went to WOT? There aren't any carburetors. Was the fuel filter changed? It is probably still on warranty, take it back to the dealer.

in 9 of 10 cases with these engines when they run rough or stalls = change spark plugs even if they look great, cheap and fast.

I think the EFI 4 strokes more often have fuel pump or filter troubles. My guess is the high pressure fuel pump.
