I have a Yamaha F225 4 stroke,My Rpm's seem to fluctuate,for example,I run at 32 mph at 3700 rpms with a 14"dia.x 23 pitch prop,the next day I might have to run it at 4000-4100 rpms to get the same speed,I have been trying to get the proper match up with props but now I am wondering if I have an issue with the motor or rpm gauge.
Top rpm's with the 23 pitch one day maybe 5500 rpms,the next day it is right at 6000.
Anybody else ever have this issue?
