1/2" windshield clips not made ??

have a guy doing bow and cockpit covers. been doing it for yrs. calls me last night and says windshield frame is 1/2" thick and hes never seen one? all his clips are 3/4 or 7/8". hes going to have to call distributure. says he will probably have to puts snaps thru frame. its a brand new boat. 2011 tahoe q5i. does anyone know of a place that might have 1/2" clips. did tracker cheap out on the winshield frame?

You could contact a dealer however the "foster" clips are common on many boats. Those are the ones that are screwed in and do not slide on the frame.
