1.5 or 2 hp evinrude

I just bought an evinrude outboard that I believed to be a 2hp....although looking at it once I got it home I saw on a tag that it says 1.5 hp at 4000 rpm . Soooo this motor has no recoil...no reverse...and I believe it to be around 1970 or so ....I cannot find a model number ...only serial # which is ...1002rc 75319....any help on this motor as far what year it is and what hp class it is in would be appreciated

Yea, the 1002RC is the model and the 75319 is actually the serial number.
Those are the cutest little egg beaters, next to the 1/2 hp Mate of 1940.
