All it was, was a Quote of the spam, then a comment calling it spam. Why keep it?

A little sad, though my sadness is softened by the thought that this may cost China big bucks in tourism which may help prevent future Chinese human rights violations... so, I don't know.

PS - I sure am glad no one else risked their lives trying to fend off the attacker.

He may not have been crazy, might have been one of those muslims that was threatening the olympics, and the tight security simply prevented them from staging any kind of larger attack.

Heck, for all we know he could have been a Scientologist. For my money, a guy who stabs a few strangers and then jumps to his death is crazy.

This is one reason I am boycotting watching any of that mess. I made an exception for the WOMENS volley ball event however.........yumyum

It doesn't look like they were targeted. Supposedly they had nothing on them identifying them specifically as Americans vs. any other nation.....they just looked like all the other tens of thousands of tourists there right now.
Even their Chinese guide was attacked.
The attacker was simply another nut....and they are out there, every country and every background unfortunately. Lets hope there aren't any more.

I would think any kind of tourist, or Chinese would be good targets for that muslim group...

It's also possible that guy could have done something the guy found offensive. You know, in different cultures, some things we consider in no way offensive, they find highly offensive... even things as simple as smiling so big your teeth show, or pointing at something with one finger...

Sure, he could have been truely crazy, but I doubt it.
