Your headed in the right direction.Probably a stuck needle.
Don't use any soaks or sprays unless the carbs realllllly bad.
I use Dawn detergent.Then rinse with water.
Then blow dry.
Any sprays like WD are great but can be sticky.
The rubber in old carbs isin't used to ethanol or some of the newer additives.
If the inside is real bad? Then make sure the rubber doesn't come in contact with the cleaners.
The carb soaks can swell the rubber in the needle/seat.
Ethanol can ruin the old hoses too.
