10-Inch Display Not Big Enough?

Just got wind of product testing in progress for display lifts being tested for marine use. Soon you will be able to display your navigational electronics on a 42-inch plasma that comes up out of the floor of your jon boat. Personally, I don’t see how anything smaller than a 50-inch plasma display is going to usable on the high seas. I think I’ll wait.<br />

Furuno, Simrad, or mighta been Ray... I forget.. Anywhoo, one of em' had them big displays going on at the PB boat show.... <br /><br />Got yer bottom machine, charts, radar, a camera in the engine room, PS2, and a movie, all goin on at the same time, on the same screen... (ok, maybe not all that, but close)<br /><br />Re-gall-dern-diculous, if'n ya ask me...

I remember something about Boatist was wanting to upgrade to a color fishfinder with a bigger screen.<br />
