Hello, I'm in the process of replacing a bad powerhead. It's a 1979 100hp johnson that I'm putting a 1979 115 johnson powerhead on. Is there any need to change the prop pitch with this HUGE jump in HP??? (kidding) The old prop is in need of change/repair. Thanks for the advice.

You've got the same bore & stroke, same intake & reeds, same pistons, rods and crank, same ignition and same gear ratio. You may be using the same carbs. The port timing may be the same or only a tiny bit different at best. Same exhaust, same tuner, same adaptor plate.

My guess is that you'll not see any difference.
