What year and what is your starting procedure?

Re: 115 johnson hard to start

If it has a "push to prime key" use this procedure.

1. Pump up primer bulb.

2. Turn key to "on" NOT start.

3. Hold in key for eight seconds.

4. Turn key to start.

5. "Bump" key to keep engine alive.

Of course, all of this is with the warm up lever advanced.

Any idea what year it is?

Post a model number. The model number is on a plate attached to the mounting bracket.
