I have a 1990 Force 120 hp L drive. I had recently replaced the trigger, power packs and stator will all new CDI products. It ran great but I only had 2 (instead of 4) bolts holding the mounting plate for the coils and power packs. Due to vibration, the bolts broke and I lost the ground for the power packs and coils. Now I have no spark on #1 and #3. They are each controlled by a different power pack. I am assuming I fried something due to it not having been grounded, whats the most likely faulty piece ?

I don't think the packs and coils are grounded through the mounting bolts.
There should be a wire that makes a ground on the block???
Test the trigger leads. Under the shrink wrap the connections can break.
The wrap holds the wire real tight.

Try swapping the leads and connectors around and see if you can make it spark.

There was a ground strap, but the mounting bolts grounded the strap to the block. Poor decision on my part. I will check the trigger leads and test for broken connectors. Thanks !
