120 Johnson Model/year identification

I picked up a spare motor to tinker with for cheap. Planned to use for spare parts but it looks like it's in pretty decent condition. Problem is I can not locate a tag with the model number anywhere. I am going to attempt to upload some photos.

Look on the transom bracket where it bolts on to the boat. There should be a small tag on it.

There is not one that I can find and if course I cant get the pictures to upload off my phone. I originally went to look at it thinking it would be good for spare parts on my 1994 115 Jonson Bubbleback crossflow model J115TLARC. The cowling design is the same but the engines not at all similar. Black cowling with two red stripes at the bottom. It looks like cylinders are part of one of the crank case halves. I only have spark on cylinder two and am guessing the pack is bad but am wont be sure until some troubleshooting is done.
