Informed that I need a new voltage regulator for a 1990, 135 H.P.S/n OC23967XX. Supposedly Mercury P/N 18736A21 ($400+!!!). Might cross reference to a Sierra 18-5824 but have been unable to verify. Supposedly this voltage regulator was only made for a limited time and was replaced by a more affordable version. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your help.
