1350 extra wire internal harness

replace internal harness this morning. i have 4, white w/ red tracer, wires left over. another question the gray wire to the Choke does not work solenoid , solenoid is good as i have had a temp push button on dash. new old stock controller and harness. thanks bob

Can you give me the part number of the internal harness not the updated onr the onr that is cast in the rubber of the harness. I cann't seem to find those colors in my Mercury manuals--Bob

Laddies, the internal harness part # 84-69236A1, bought it from oldmercs.com. it runs great, just had these 4 wires left over. maybe they are there for another model. they don't show on my wiring diagram either. thanks, bob

The books seem a little skitchy, but as near as I can tell your original number was 52769 and was change to the number you have which fits all I/6 with dist. CD those wires are used on the 150XS to power up things like gauges, external trim panels a etc. but not really used on most engines. Now if I could ask a favor could you look in the JX phone book and see if there is a listing for a David Ahrens he is a freind from the service I heard he lived in the JX area but can't seem to locate him--Bob
