14 day Tornado prediction - seriously ???

Watching the weather channel tonight and during the segment, the forecasters were predicting as many as 300 (300) tornadoes over the next 14 days throughout the mid eastern USA. Holly crap

Not sure how they can be so confident about a 14 day forecast like that when they can't predict what tomorrows weather will be. Sure hope they are way off on that prediction

As soon as mother nature pushes the jet stream back up north and all the cold air behind it, things should settle down.
