140hp 3.0L main bearing question

Hey guys ive got my 3.0 all back from the machine shop ready to put together. I went to install the main bearings and the oil holes dont line up in the top shell. Instead there is a groove that partially covers the oil hole. Is this by design? The bearings are clevite ms1733p which i believe is the correct part number.

those are bearings for a pontiac 2.5 liter (151 cubic inch)

I cant even find the 153/181/196/230/250/290 engines in the clevite catalog.

did you receive the bearings from your machine shop?

Clevite M-1733P is listed as the Main Bearing Set for that motor.
Also Sealed Power 4123MA is listed.

I found these bearings in the clevite catalog under the chevy 153 cubic inch engine. The machine shop did not supply them. I'll post a picture of the bearings later.

Ok guys this is what im dealing with. The 2 oil holes on the left side dont line up with anything. The only oil flow is through the slot cut into the bearing backing plate.
