Re: 15 HP Evinrude year needed
Up until 1979 model had two digits of the year in model number like my 15 which is a 1975 and has a model number of 15R75C. after 1979 used a code with word INTRODUCES I=1 N=2 ect. Your model nomber does not seem to fit either system unless it is a 1970 but I am pretty sure they did not make the 15 until 1974. Does your motor have thru hub exhaust????
