15 hp loses spark on one intermittant at high speed

johnson 15 15E75C seems to lose spark on one intermittently. it winds out fine, but just seems to lose 1/4 power for a few seconds and then runs fine.. and cycles like that. It's elect start, and I replaced one set of pts and cleaned the other. Carb should be good, and I tried cleaning/replacing/ cleaning different plugs-so that's not the issue. It really feels like a spark issue, except it has too much power to be only running on one. Thanks!kirby

I would start with an actual spark test, along with a compression test.

The spark should jump the gap on the inline tester a good 1/4" with a bright blue ZAP!!

If spark and compression check out, you will need to look into fuel delivery related issues.

Thanks chris, compression over 90, and my spark tester I made w/help from a fellow member showed a great blue spark. I'll go over the fuel lines again, but I think they're fine.
