How do I tell if I have a 15" or 20" transom on my 70HP Jhnson?

Need some more info such as serial number that will tell you what year or measure from the top, inside, where it sits on the transom to the cavitation plate, then measure your transom. Best if it sit right at or an inch above the hull.
