1500 Velvet drive clutch replace

I have a 1500 series Velvet drive with a bad clutch. I have removed the trans (It's about the size of a basketball) I can't seem to find a manual on how to replace the clutch plates. Anyone have tech guidelines? Or is this a fairly easy job that can be explained maybe?

I know this is an old post but did you ever find the parts to repair your velvet drive? I too have a series 1500 that is needing rebuilt, it has no reverse and makes a noise while the engine is running. Im having trouble finding parts. Also how do you separate the drive from the foot? Thanks!
