15hp '75 gearcase access

I need to re-seal my lower unit, and I need to pull the access cover/bearing carriage from behind my prop. I remember seeing that someone posted how to make a puller to get that off. I can't seem to find it now. Can someone steer me in the correct direction? It's the type that came after the removeable skeg type.

you can use a automotive type puller,make a pair of hooks from som threaded rod,they actually have tools for the purpose and basically are "arms "that attach to the puller,you might need another set of hands to assist,but it shoulnt take too much to pull it
